Meteor and mages guild passives

Do any of the passives that directly effect mages guild skills like everlasting magic have any effect on meteor or do they only effect the regular abilities? I kinda want to know before I take any of them because the only regular ability I occasionally use is volcanic rune but meteor is my main damage ultimate.
