(I didn't read the crafting intro page, sorry!)

Can anyone give me any tips to the whereabouts of beginner recipes? I've been on the hunt with no avail to finding the two I need for the beginner writ for provisioning and it seems pretty random with what recipes I find. Any help would be greatly appreciated! You can send a message my way in game if you want, NA server on the xbox. @xRedFawkes

Do a quick search for recipes in this forum and you will find LOADS of info. On my phone while waiting for wife, so can't be more helpful right now, sorry.

Recipes can be found in cabinets, nightstands, backpacks, dressers in towns, delves, and out in the wilderness. Some recipes drop off humanoids. Best bet is to check the guild traders in popular spots like Mournhold, Rawl'kra, and Grahtwood. Prices vary between 25 - 150g usually.

Alternatively, have a friend with the recipe make you some or buy the crafted food/drink items (green not white) to complete the writs until you level to the round of writ recipes.

Your best bet is to go to your starter island. I was at khenarthi roost yesterday picking up the skyshards I had missed and in about an hour came across, chicken breast, roast pig x2, and red rye beer. That was without really looking.
I'm actually going to go back there later on to try and find the baked potato recipe as it seems to be eluding me!

Don't mean to double post but I can't seem to edit. Just to add to this, I returned to khenarthi roost and picked up the baked potato recipe in the first container I opened.
