Trouble in Davon's Watch

Soul Shriven
Davon's Watch was bustling with people, as usual. Laughter, sales pitches, arguments, and more filled the energized air. The smell of food floated through the streets as it enticed many to it's stalls. Walks-with-Smile sat on the ledge of the bridge, admiring the loud environment. Many begged her not to leave the swampy depths of Shadowfen, but she wouldn't listen. She clutched a small bag to her chest. It was made of dried mud and leaves but was hollow on the inside. Within, it held a few necessities to get by in her travels.
Walks-with-Smile was a young Argonian but wiser than her age. Her scales were bright with energy which caused the gold and black scales to shimmer in the sun. She admired a Nord playing a lute and her tail swung to the beat. How could such a beautiful place be as dangerous as all of her egg brothers and egg sisters claimed? The intoxicating smell of meat suddenly hit her. "Mmm" she muttered, looking around for the source. A few stalls down, there was a High Elf that seemed to be selling exotic meats. Walks-with-Smile jumped down from her perch and headed over to the stall, her bare feet clicking on the ground as she made her way over. As she admired the booth, the High Elf approached her.
"You have some fine tastes my lady!" he exclaimed. Walks-with-Smile beamed in his direction, hugging her mud bag. The High Elf looked at her bag and lifted an eyebrow. "Despite this" he started, turning away from her "You cannot afford any of it" he said, waving a hand in her direction. Walks-with-Smile's eyes widened at such a blunt statement, but she continued to smile his way.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was just passing by" she state, scurrying away towards the central fountain. There she sat at it's edge and contemplating getting a job. A flyer flapped in the breeze near her and she examined it. It was a "WANTED" poster. It had a sketch of a Nord on it and below was a huge gold reward. Walks-with-Smile grinned at it. "I will catch him!" she exclaimed, suddenly feeling more confident that she was. She stuffed the flyer into her mud bag and began to go through the other stalls for a new weapon.
  • WandersWithMoonlight
Another argonian was wandering about the Davon's Watch market, swiftly moving through the crowd of people. She was sporting her usual black leather armor, though she kept the hood down this time. The sun felt good on her scales. She couldn't recall having ever seen it this busy before, but as a nice a day as it was, she supposed that she couldn't be surprised. Wanders-With-Moonlight tended to stand apart from other argonians, in the fact that she was rather plain. Most of her kind had spines, or horns and sometimes even feathers on their heads. Wanders bore no such adornments, and had pale scales, in contrast to other argonians having ones that contained several hues.
She was pleased at the crowd she was seeing. It was certainly a good day to watch folks go about their daily lives. She was heading to the spot in Davon's Watch she usually reserved for this; the central fountain. It gave her a good vantage point, putting the entire square around it full view. As she left the crowd and made her to the fountain, she spied another argonian sitting there. She seemed younger, but Wanders didn't think she could've been much younger than herself. She hoped, anyway. Despite only being a few years past adulthood, she was slowly finding easier to feel old around younger argonians.
A flyer suddenly landed at at the argonian's feet, which she picked up. She made a loud exclamation about catching someone; Wanders' interest couldn't help but be piqued. It's not something you heard some shout in public every day. Wanders watched as the young argonian quickly put the flyer into her bag and headed off towards a weapon stall. Wanders wasn't intending to do anything but watch, but she couldn't help but give in to the curiosity. She approached the stall the argonian was browsing. She took a moment, actually browsing the weapons in stock, but none of them seemed better than what she had. With only a minor glance towards the argonian, she asked, "I hope you don't mind a stranger prying, but...who do you plan to catch?"
