Alessia bridge from AD side is non functional for siege weapons unlike the EP side. There are very few spaces to set up siege and when finally set your siege, you cant aim at bridge. Thus this let EP(even pugs) camp bridge gate for hours without the fear factor from sieges.

Have you ever turned around and looked at the EP side approach? There is literally NOWHERE you can put a viable siege weapon that would hit anything coming through or on that bridge. The EP approach is actually steeper than the AD side.
