Assault and support are cool but what if we could sway an NPC or two in a hostile town?

We could Turn a loyal guard against the masters of the keep.

Bribe a servant to leave a postern door unlocked for our strike team.

Maybe just sow chaos.

Raise merchant prices for an enemy faction at a towns merchant.

Have one of the servants sabatoge a siege engine.

Etc.

I was PvPing the other day and noticed how quickly the farmers to from vicious killers to passive allies.

No loyalty at all.

'Aw shucks, I can't hate you ad warrior, your standing in closer proximity to that weird flag than that other team.'

I say we should be able to play on the shifting loyalties of the poor common people crushed by the weight of this senseless alliance war.

What other skills would fall under an espionage tree?

Obviously they would have to be comparable to the original two.

Interesting ideas. Some of it isn't worth adding into the game though. Doubt it would work well.

How would you highlight the shifting loyalties of keep, outpost and town NPCs?

Espionage could be a lot of fun for sneaky night blade scout - agents.
