Pees_In_Your_Mead
now before you say no you cant switch your toons and gear from pc to ps4 I know this. That is not what this is about.

Sadly my Pc is all funky and stuff and I cant play eso on it. Soo im thinking of buying the ps4 ver and playing that now I know my toons gear pets...ETC will not go over to that ver. But will I have to make a new acct by this I mean have to put in an email make a new password and user name and sign in with those or can I use my current email and password that I use with my pc ver? Mostly I wanna know so I can ether make a new email or if I don't have to witch im really hoping I don't. if not soo be it its not a big deal

Huh? I thought you could transfer your character and its items from PC to PS4, or am I wrong? since I saw a few 10-14 VRs a few days after it was released on PS4 and I was like yeah, they've def transferred. Also Champ points carry over too, I think... I have no idea, never done it myself.

limited time offer .. now gone

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

as far as I know your PS4 ESO will be linked to your PSN ID not your email address

That error could relate to a couple of things - RAM failure or HDD failure come to mind.

Can you use other media from your hard drive? Do you have any TV shows or anything stored on there - if so, can you view them? Or any other documents you could try to load up? Does it take ages to access files or are there any clicking or grinding noises from your PC when you try to access files?

If it is the RAM, how much do you have installed? If it is more than 1 stick of RAM you can test by removing 1 stick at a time and seeing what happens.

The other potential issue is PSU failure - that can be difficult to diagnose, because the main symptom is that things start to work erratically, due to components not getting enough power.

well no movies but I got music on it and I could run my 6 hour+ playlist and no prbs. I think I got 4 or 6 ram not sure. Files load up nice and fast and no funny sounds. Also it mostly crash if I watching youtube but the odd thing is it will not crash for hours if I have another program up such as eso or steam etc it will run with out prbs for upto 6 hours

I used the account transfer and didn't have to create a new account. I don't think you will have to either, when you first start ESO on PS4, you just have to login with your existing account or make a new one. Sad to hear about your PC, I'm in the same situation :(

Is it PC or Mac? If PC, how much memory does it say you have if you run dxdiag from the start menu?
Often RAM failure - like if half of your RAM has failed - results in not being able to load games, or them hanging shortly after launch. But other less-intensive stuff still works OK.

If that was from dxdiag, it looks more like the page file (space on your hard drive which is used for certain functions within Windows and memory overspill) which is split into used and available - the Memory line above that should give the total amount of RAM in your PC?
If your dxdiag doesn't look like that it could be that you are on a different operating system than I am

Hmm well it looks as though Windows is recognising 8Gb RAM which indicates that it is working. In my experience, if games won't run properly and I get the error message you described, if it is a RAM problem then it will show up in the dxdiag and that is not the case here.

My next thing to investigate would be the hard drive - in my experience, mechanical hard drives do not last as long as they ought to (I have had some fail within 2 years), but I would do a backup of any essential data before proceeding with tests on the hard drive, as if an HDD is on its last legs, you need to get data backed up asap.

OK, cool - I mean one of the things to consider is 'how old are the other components' and deciding how much longevity your current kit has, if you are planning on a new one anyway then probably not worth fixing this one!

If you want build advice in future, just ask - I build and maintain and sometimes have to fix my own and my husband's gaming PCs, always happy to assist :)
