Overload Skill bug?

I am level 14 High Elf Sorcerer currently. I was in a dungeon and hit lvl 13 halfway through and noticed a big change in my character. I hit my Ultimate Overload skill and my bar flips and Lightning Splash skill gets swapped out with a different skill that I dont have active on my bar. Every other skill is still the same. I also changed my Ultimate to something else and my bar doesnt flip.

Is there some type of bug or glitch that causes my Overload skill to change my bar and drop a skill I want to use?

I am really new to this game and thought level 15 was when I get 2 bars of skills to use. I kind of like the Overload skill but it sucks that every time now it drops Lightning Splash and switches it for some other skill. That skill makes my whole body glow and crap. Cant remember that skill. Some type of resistance.

Anybody have any advice as to what might be going on? Thanks! On a PS4, Daggerfall Covenant, NA server.

Don't tell anybody else. But Overload gives you a 3rd hotbar. Put anything you want on it that isn't restore or destruction staff.

Just between you and me though okay.

Thanks! I remember something from Deltia Gaming saying something bout a 3rd bar. Lol! Just not sure why a skill I want and need gets dropped for something I dont want. Never did that before level 13. Lol

activating overload (which is a toggle) also gives you a third ability bar (which you can only re-arrange while overload is active)

I made the same mistake when old skills kept popping up when in Overload. I figured it out eventually, but like Morvul says cast overload then go in and assign what skills you want on that hotbar while overload is active, not restore or destruction though as you need the staffs to cast them obviously.
