ZOS if you want to make things more challenging, than make the content more challenging and fun and rewarding. Terra offers double loot rewards weekends for specific dungeons where every boss you beat offers twice the rewards. This is a fine example of fun and rewarding.

But your new take on challenging is not challenging.

Players should rise to the challenge not fall to the challenge on content they've already conquered.

I'm talking about hobbling our characters with nerfs like 0 stamina regeneration while blocking. The new challenge is to beat old content with a new nerfs and higher level cap. Create new ways to beat old content by mixing and matching the same old tired skills with a tiny amount of new fringe coloring or a few more utility sets that are supposed to make the difference after you spend tireless hours attempting to acquire them.

Stamina regeneration while blocking is not broken and requires no "fixing" or "balancing". If the content isn't challenging enough the way it is then you add new more creative challenging mechanics where the player suffers defeat not because you hobbled his/her character, but because their strategy or timing needs work or they need to avoid more red circles or anything very similar to any of these ideas.

No more compromise Zeni! Enough is enough is enough with the nerfs. Prove to us you can make ESO as challenging and fun as all of your single player games without destroying our characters. Rise to the challenge instead of nerfing us all back to Oblivion.

My characters have all taken some epic nerfbats with this test update, but ZOS still has a chance to solicit feedback and listen to us. Things can still change. I've been nerfed pretty bad, but I'm still optimistic.

Hm, I wonder why ZoS decided to open the floodgates a month early...

Maybe... it's a way to get some, ahem, feedback on their proposed changes!?

But seriously. Get into the PTS, start providing feedback. They're not gonna go around changing stuff simply because people are crying on the forums because they don't like change.

Get out there, and start providing alternatives.

    huh ?
Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

    So much QQ and rage.

People often fight the most passionately for things they care for the most, maybe some of us aren't so gifted in terms of eloquence in conveying our passion so instead we convey it through rage as some people would view it. I wouldn't be here QQ and raging if I didn't care for the game I would just silently go somewhere else.

I do agree that the first boss we fought in the IC Dungeon took the old classic lazy dev approach of giving something a bunch of health and power to make it harder, not actually designing mechanics that are interesting (and most importantly FUN). Not sure what was more dangerous, the boss or trying not to fall asleep during the fight.
