Ok, So i just got ESO like 2 days ago, but i am unsure of what i want to play

MMOs i have played
Gw2 = Play Mesmer/Guardian
SWTOR = Played Sith Assassin
Dekaron (2moons) = Played Segnale (Dedicated healer class that was strong at PVP and PVE simply by out healing the damage dealt to them, while also being able to deal not tons but enough damage to kill her enemy eventually)

I have always loved a healer class that basically one fights simply because you cant kill them either im gonna kill you sooner or later, or you are just gonna realize you cant touch me so you GO AWAY SMELLY! (sorry JSE reference)

Not sure if ESO has a class like that i havent really found a class like that in any other MMO except Dekaron if there is a healer class that is really good for PvP and wins fights but out healing damage and stuff please let me know cuz i would like to play that class.

Other than that im unsure of what to play

I currently have a NB lv.10 and a Sorc lv.5 Both are pretty fun but they dont give me that AW THIS CLASS IS AWSOME feeling

Thanks for Reading

    I've never played SWTOR. I am a GW2 vet.

    There the guardian is a very a-typical type of healer for mmo's.
    the mesmer is also very a-typical for mmo's.

    If you want to compare classes between GW2 and ESO, then very roughly it would be like this.

    Dragonknight - Warrior
    Sorcerer - Elementalist
    Nightblade - Thief
    Templar - blank.

    After this the first remark I want to make is that ESO is very different in the core of the game. Classes are much less important, cause more then 75% off a build (in average) comes from sources all classes can use. So instead of a firm direction, a class is more like a rough choice that cancels out a few paths (and even that is not true, cause all classes can be viable at anything).

    This also means the game is much more in balance. There are no OP classes and it is much more bout your personal skill and your total build how good you are.

    You got dedicated healerbuilds that are made for groupplay. They are very different then healerbuilds for solo. A melee healer like GW2's guardian is good, but not as powerfull.

    Still I would say that the Templar is your best pick. The main reason is that it is good for dps, but it brings heals as a class. Where other classes can be excellent healers for a group, they need to specialise by using a restorationstaff. Templars can use one or two healing skills from their class and still bring a punch from the weapons or other skill lines. Just keep in mind that stamina and magicka don't mix well. They are more then pools of manna. They also fuel the amount of dps and healing. This makes a stamina based weapon with magicka based spells less viable for dps. Better for a templar is to concentrate on magicka for dps and heals and use your stamina based skills only for support. It's not that a sword and shield for a templar is bad, but it has many dangers if you dont full understand the game yet.

    Through me you pass into eternal pain:
    Through me among the people lost for aye.

    Templar, best heals and can hold its own in a fight
    My biggest fear in life is, ending up marrying a girl who is lactose intolerant, think about it you would have to purchase double the amount of milk every week, cause you enjoy the goodness of full cream milk and she is drinking soy beans, and her milk takes up extra room in the fridge, or when you are doing a midnight run to the fridge to get a nice cup of milk and to accidentally pour some Soy milk. I couldn't imagine a worst way to do married life. - Barry Scott

    There is now uber awesome in ESO

    If you want something that out-heals player dps you need to look elsewhere

    ... otherwise all aspects of ESO are potentially enjoyable, just avoid translating your expectations from other games.
    Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

    ^thats a lie, healing ward well out heal dps 95% of the time, as long as you can keep it up, its what I use as a nightblade to stay alive, but it useable for all classes

    you contradict yourself, accusing me of lying then set provisos of "95% of the time" and "as long as you can keep it up" ...

    See that's rubbish, this game allows for so much you can build anything

    I have a templar at VR1 10 points in health 24 in stamina and 15 in magicka and he holds his own,

    Yes some boss battles are a challenge , but isntbthat the point, too many builds I read about on hear are designed to auxk the fun from the game and make you super high DPS that everything does so easily its no fun or your health n heal are so high you can spend forever killjnv things slowly knowing you wont die ...again... No fun

    My recomndation is build a few you have 8 slots take them all for a spin and build something you love to.play with not something that's no fun

    In the early stages of any build, you'll likely feel a little underwhelmed because you simply haven't unlocked the best class/weapon skills yet. Any class can be a good healer through the use of a Restoration Staff, but it sounds like you might be interested in making a Templar at some point. Templars have an entire tree dedicated to healing, and are quite versatile in general, capable of playing any of the three roles (DPS, Healer, Tank) effectively and rather easily.

    That said, I've enjoyed my Bow/DW stamina Nightblade DPS and my magicka Destro/Resto staff Sorcerer DPS/Healer as much as my Templar alts. The playstyles are just different.
