Where's the option for (mostly) liking and playing the game and just coming to the forums to mess with people? They are not mutually exclusive. I think that option might be the biggest slice of pie. Mmmmm, pie.

It depends if you mess with people constructively than I'd vote the first one lol

(To me) If you like/play the game then using the forums (for any reason) is your right...as long as you folow the forum's rules.

So, (I see) no real need to distinguish that little anomoly.

I love the game and play all the time, well whenever I'm not working and my wife isn't getting on to me for playing too much. And I get on here and talk about CPs and my dislike of PC players getting transferred with top level toons, but I love the game and hope it lasts a long time. I argue these things because I know as it stands now the game is not friendly to new players. I leveled 10-v1 in straight PvP, I know how long it takes and know how many others zoomed pasted me because they grinded to get better in PvP, while I was actually playing PvP

The scenario I posed is most certainly not an anomaly, it's a request to acknowledge that your poll has tunnel vision (all do to some extent, this one more than most).

You are attempting to paint forum posters into only two possible groups:
1) you play the game and are a positive contributor to the forums
-or-
2) you don't play the game and are a forum troll

There are many posters that play the game and troll the forums, and many here that have quit playing, and are still here hoping to see future resolution to the reason(s) they don't play anymore. I often see helpful answers from posters who acknowledge that they haven't played in several months and don't intend to. Your poll completely denies the existence of these types of people.

In general, I like the people here. Too many forums are full of flamers and trolls, but ESO does a pretty good job of keeping us civil here and there is an amazing amount of information to be had.

I do enjoy the game, but have often thought about setting it aside since I have so much trouble with it being an MMO as I don't know anything about Grouping, have neve done PvP before and am mute (by choice, not by cap).

These folks have convinced me to keep trying and, one day, I will git gud at this thing and make myself proud!

Biased poll is biased. Where's the option for used to play the game, but check in once in a while in the hope they've got their *** together and delivered an mmo that goes beyond hack and slash?

This is quite a biased poll.

You either are good or evil apparantly.

No way you can like the game but use the forum to pass the time at work. Or generally like the game but feel the forum is too heavily policed. Or HATE the game but enjoy talking about how to make it better on the forum.

Or are indifferent towards the game but troll is life.

What about the option of 'I play the game cos I like it but read the forums when I go outside for a smoke' ... I feel like I'm being discriminated against!

Some people seem to be taking this "for sharts-n-giggles" poll way too seriously.

I just wanted to see if the "real trolls" would admit it if they could do it "anonomously".

Because there are two particular forum users I suspect only post to cause arguments, and get threads locked.
And, yes, I know that an "anonomous" poll will not prove that those particular two are, in fact, what I suspect.
But, it sparked my mind to see if others would admit to doing it.

The forums are the least laggy PVP areas.

Too bad ZOS nerfed my Shield of Stabby Words.
