A lore for characters

My friend and I have been thinking it is cool to have lore for your characters that you can make by the character creation. Something like mass effect, where you must answer some questions about who your parents were and where you come from. I think this is a good idea but inwould like to hear your oppinions

It worked in Mass Effect because your past accomplishments were mentioned by other characters and there was a special quest for each background. It worked in Mount&Blade because your background affected your starting stats.

Here? ESO wouldn't get anything like this, we don't have class-specific quests and only precious few moments when our race has any significance. So I don't see ZOS creating references to several more aspects of our background. It could be nice though, as long as the options are sufficiently broad. But if a written biography is all it is, I'd rather just do it in my own head.

You can create a story and background for your character in the game right now if you like.

Doubt many people pull up character profiles and read about you in-game though. But it is very cool Zeni has that feature now.

I wish character creation was more along the lines of early TES games where you answer questions to determine your class. ESO could have done this with faction and race too.
