Question Nirnstuff

Hey guys, can anyone explain me how it works with the Nirncrux and Nirdhoned stuff? I guess i've to analyze it first?
Where ist the best place to get the nirn material for craftig?

Nirnhoned gear drops in Craglorn dungeons/trials and Nirncrux comes from nodes in Upper Craglorn .. that's UPPER Craglorn, ie. the nothern part of the zone opened up after the initial Craglorn patch (maybe 1.5?), the nodes in the first Craglorn area do NOT drop Nirncrux as far as I know.

I thought nirnhoned gear is a quest reward for the end of the Craglorn quest line and each player can only ever get the one piece and has to buy the rest from other players?
Not sure though, never bothered with Upper Craglorn quests myself.

New patch notes for xbox says nirncrux can be obtained from any node in craglorn, not just the upper region.

This is just rich nodes obtained through crafting / consumable writ rewards I think? (Survey maps)
