Healer advice

I want to start a healer. What is the best most awesome race for a healer?

I believe the general consensus is Breton Templar.

But then again, I'm a complete nub with regards to ESO.

It's as simple as that... Templars are the best healers hands down... Bretons have the strongest synergy with healing (10% extra magicka... and more importantly are the only race with spell cost reduction, which is the most powerful magicka management stat in the game... more powerful than extra magicka OR magicka regen).

I like a nord healer because a healer need to live long, and the nords get an health buff, but clearly the templars are the best choice

I went with an Orc for a similar build. He makes a great Templar Healer.

You can really create a good healer with any race you choose that's magicka based. Take a look through all of the racial buffs and pick the one you want to play based on how you like their look more than a specific race. You'll be glad you did. The game is constantly changing with updates and what not anyway. Just because one race looks better now doesn't mean they will stay that way.
