console patch inconsistency

Ive had this game day 1 when it launched and ive bought the plus membership to help you guys out.
But we are at like patch 1.4 on consoles and pc is at patch 2.14? Like really? We pay for this game just as much at pc dones.
Id like to have to same treatment or atleast a patch thats every 2 weeks with all the stuff up to date but we are almost 1 month and a half Behind pc. Ill stop paying my membership if yall cant keep up

Just so you are aware, the patch numbers don't have anything to do with what is actually in the patch (or game).

PC was at 2.0 before console even launched. It's just a way of numbering the version, and each platform has gone through a different amount of versions.. obviously PC has went through a lot as it was already over a year old when console launched.

Trust me you don't want the same treatment that PC got. They mostly got ignored for the first year.

Patches take longer than PC as they have to go through Sony/Microsoft certification. Every two weeks would be impossible.

Ohh okay, but we still havent gotten a patch in about 3-4 weeks we got a 15 gig update like 1 week after launch thats about it sense then its been alot of crap because all the stam builds stack dark hunter and 1 shot people

Client side patches require the certification, things that can be hot patched on the server can be done much faster
as in other console game server patches.
Those server side patches during maintenance my not always be documented.

On the scale of things to fix (would this even count?) This has got to be on the bottom.

That's the way it works kid. Nothing ZoS can do a bout it besides hold back content from PC users.which is unfair for them.

So what type of things can be hot patched? Im guesssing bugs within the world itself?

This...

When the consoles came out, being a different platform it likely carried all the incremental patches the PC version has, hence starting at the same point, but giving the number 1.0 because of the platform change.

Yes they take maybe a week some times days dependiing on when there submitted to sony at lest..

after a year on DCUO i would watch the test fourm and see a fix for a patch or a whole dlc go in on tuesday on the test server..the following tuesday both pc and playstation would get the whole patch or dlc including the fixs that went in the week before...

This patch were getting is a month + old...So this whole well you have to wait on sony and micro to approve the patch is BS any more then a week is on ZOS wanting to wait..

its funny when DCUO launchs a DLC they lauch for both PC and Playstation the same day Since its THE SAME GAME...They give people who subscribe 2 weeks with the DLC before they sell the DLC in there store or any where else as a thank you for subscribing...Here the 2 week wait feels like a slap in the face...

Im sorry pc players went thru hell and back for a year but i bought this game a pay my sub like every one else.
