Vampire leveling

I have a level 49 vampire, and on that account it is somewhat fast to level up. Hit lvl 2 after 10-12 mins. (no quests)
Made a new acc., lvl 20 vampire, and it feels a lot harder to lvl up. I've done 4 quests and the xa bar is like 7% until lvl 2

✭✭✭✭✭That's expected. The Vampire skill line levels based on the amount of XP you earn, and it's scaled to level at a rate that's reasonable for a character of level 38-42ish, because that's the level you're expected to be when you encounter the bloodfiends and complete the Vampire quest. A level 20 chaarcter earns far less XP, and is going to take a lot longer to level the skill line. That's part of the reason why I always advise low level characters to be patient and wait until they're higher level before trying to get Vampirism, rather than the whole "I want it NOW" thing that usually happens.
