PS: Steam DID have a sale on ESO this weekend because of Quakecon. I think it was 25 or even 33% off.
A very, very small portion of the PC ESO population plays on Steam, yet, ESO has broken it's all time peak player record on Steam today (source)!
Woo! Slowly, but surely, the game is improving and people are seeing it's worth playing
I think we can attribute this to the many sales retailers have been having recently that PC has been starving for.
