How does prism work?

The templar passive prism says it grants 3 ult every 6 seconds every time I activate a dawn's wrath ability. I never get any ult from using dark flare or vampire's bane. Am I missing something? Or is it currently broken on PS4?

Azalin76✭✭✭Ah ok, thanks for that, I would have never noticed that. Seems only useful for my resto bar. I don't really use a melee hit to start gaining ult until after I use my dawn's wrath skills.0
