Breton Light Armor Shoulders.

Up to the "Linen" variety, Breton style light shoulders look very cool, but from "Cotton" on the shoulders look like crap, little tiny unattached pads. Is there any way you (ZOS) could someday change this so to keep the "Linen" style of shoulder up to the entire series? Basically the little pads look like crap, but the shoulders that wrap around look much cooler.

These are the crappy pads:

It would be cool to keep it looking like the Linen ones on the higher level Armour.

Different styles means you can wear the style you like. Don't like the little pads? Don't wear the little pads.

Problem is that there none of the other craftable light shoulders are as cool as the Breton linen shoulders. Otherwise I wouldn't ask about it.

Ancient Elf and High Elf don't transition into shoulder pads. Actually, Ancient Elf armor doesn't change at all from 1 to VR14.

Neither High Elf nor Ancient Elf look nearly as cool as Breton Linen.

I have to agree, the only highlevel shoulderpiece that matches the coolness of the low-level light breton things is the youkudan-style "martial..." set piece. And that's no use if one wants a crafted set.

I for one would love to see the low level breton style stay that way through all levels...

I'm actually surprised there isn't a way to craft high level gear that LOOKS like low level gear.

^ I love the low level bosmer medium look and hate when I have to change it :'(
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

Yes, it would be very nice if this was an option. Or at least if we had the option to 'Convert to X style' for all racial styles we knew the motifs for:

Imo the coolest looking light armor (apart from Worm Cultist Garment) in the game is Breton Linen, it is so sad you can never look like that at high level.

And it would be so simple. The function to use more materials for a higher level item is already in the game.
It would just require a few dozen Jute to craft a max level robe in that style ...

Generally all gear looks worse and worse with increased level. The best bosmer medium armor is the lvl 1 to 14 and 16 to 26. After that bosmer gear look like crap.

So it is not only breton light.

I have seriously considered wearing lower level gear or sets that are not powerful just for the look of them. The content is so easy anyway you could do most of it naked so why not sacrifice for style? Wear linen epaulets if you like them. How much of a difference is one low level piece of armor going to make really? Heck you could make them Legendary to compensate. I guess only exception would be PVP.

You want to talk about ugly? Those imperial belts man. Those hip-flaring mud flaps are horrible!

The rest of the set looks pretty good though.

Edit* Apparently "Mud flaps" without the space is censored? lol what?

One of the coolest sets I have ever made, was dark elf heavy chest and shoulders (Dreugh King Slayer), dark elf medium gloves and boots, and redguard medium pants.
