Help revamping my NB

Evi1_An9e1
Hey all! I currently am playing a Dunmer NB and am wanting some help with my skill bars and gear. I am currently a VR1 and am looking for a setup that I can easily swap between pvp and pve. Any help would be appreciated. My current setup is:

DW
Assassin's blade
Flurry
Shadow Cloak
Teleport Strike
Veiled Strike
Death Stroke

BOW
Arrow Spray
Grim Focus
Mist Form
Snipe
Summon Shade
Bat Swarm

I am currently DW a sword and dagger and yes I am a vampire but if that is something that would be advised against I can cure it or respect my other NB (trying to keep a vamp so I can give bites for free, down with the charges). Again any help would be appreciated.

Are you Magicka or Stamina? It look's like your heavy into Magicka with your Bow and Stamina with your DW.

    For DW i use:
    Ambush
    Killers Blade
    Surprise Attack
    Steel Tornado
    Camo Hunter

    For Bow i use:
    Lethal Arrow
    Poison Injection
    Arrow Barrage
    Peircing Mark
    Relentless Focus

Start with bow. Mark your target then buff up with focus. Switch to dw and apply camo then ambush into surprise or steel tornado if there is 3 or more. Finish with killers blade.

Please keep in mind i tend to swap out steel tornado for Dark Cloak sometimes. Depends on the situation.

Oh and if you are stamina based i highly recommend going Werewolf for the stam regen passive.

Looking at the werewolf skill line, I don't see any passive regen at all. They don't have any abilities that apply when you aren't wolfed out. Vampires, on the other hand, have a passive magicka and stamina regen. Plus, pretty much their entire kit synergizes with nightblades. Vampire seems like the way to go.

That is because it is not in the skill line itself. You have to look at active effects on your character screen. It will say "take 40% more poison damage in werewolf form" and "increase stamina regen in combat by 15%"

The 15% is active in human AND werewolf form. Poison weakness is ONLY in werewolf form. Unlike Vampire where you always have the weakness to fire and most enemys use fire.

What about ultimates and gear sets?

Stick with vampire. The sneak passive is invaluable for nbs. Also, I personally like bats on my melee bar, since you have to getup close and personal to use it, but death stroke is nice too, since it's the cheap ulti.

Isn't the 5 peice set bonus from Night Silence better than the Vampire passive? I run with 5 peice Nights Silence and 4 peice Ashen Grip for PvP and i swap out Nights Silence for Hundings Rage when i PvE.

And as for Ultimate i go with Death Stroke (morphed to Soul Harvest) for PvP and PvE i go with Dawnbreaker (morphed to Flawless Dawnbreaker). I keep Soul Shred (morphed to Soul Tether) on my bow bar for those "Oh crap!" moments lol

Better question: don't those passives stack?

I feel like an 82% speed bonus for crouching would be pretty awesome.

The Nights Silence negates the speed penalty completely. So you run the same speed in stealth as you do normally. I'm 99% sure they do not sack. I tested it and did not notice a difference.

Back when I spent a day hanging out in that tower you rescue the Silvenar from, waiting for his jailer to spawn (which never happened and yes I am somewhat bitter -.-), I saw a vampire sneaking around in circles faster than I could sprint with Major Expedition active.

Any idea how, if they don't stack? Because I want to know. o_o

You sneak faster as a vamp than nights silence. Especially if you use concealed weapon. And having the passive opens options for better armor sets. Soul tether is another one of my favorites.

Either it just seemed that they were faster due to internet lag between you two, or this was BEFORE they patched it.

Look i am not trying to argue about stealth speed as that has no bearing on your dps. You can believe what you want. And as a stamina nb why would you use Concealed Weapon?

All i'm trying to say is, WW is the better choice for a stamina NB. You get a very good passive (15% sta regen) with none of the drawbacks. Vampire is by far the better choice for a hybrid or full magicka build.

Ok for the sake of ending this issue i present to you:http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/132089/feedback-suggestion-not-a-petition-please-reinstate-nights-silence-dark-stalker-stacking

So in fact we were both wrong. Vamp passive and Nights Silence do in fact do the same thing. Amazing what a quick google search can do huh? Lol

I thiink the best question is: what is the best NB, Mana or Stam?

I think that is mostly based on personal preferance. I personally like stamina but i also have yet to try magicka so i may not be the best one to answer lol. I feel that stamina has a higher burst damage while magicka has more survivability.
