ZENIMAX, Guild Capes???

I am disappointed by the lack of in-game capes. Nothing can make you look more regal.

But more specifically, GUILD CAPES? That would be such an increase in style from the current guild tabbards.

They would work like the same mechanic. Either a new slot, "capes", or put it in the existing slot for tabbards.

My guild, The Northern Union, & many other guilds would love to see this.

They have mentioned that capes where removed back in pre-closed beta due to the fact they did not look right. They hopefully will add some later but tbh i rather see cloaks then capes.

Please, no capes. Cloaks, like those in GoT, would be neat. They wrap around the body, acting as a coat of sorts.

Cloaks would obscure shoulder armor however. I think either would be perfectly fine, & many if not most other MMORPGs have an equivalent.

The tabbards are sort of awkward IMO.

If it's good enough for superman it's good enough for me. Seriously though my main concern would be clipping and weird bugs for capes/cloaks I've seen in some games. If they can avoid that, why not for those who want them. Adding something other than tabbards to advertise your guild, or even just for general use, isn't a bad thing. Nothing wrong with adding cosmetics to customize your character with, as long as it doesn't take too much time from adding content and fixing bugs of course.

NO capes!

Cloaks sure as long as they look like something realistic. Something to keep you warm in the cold or to keep the rain off. They would have to wrap around you some cover the front of your shoulders. cover your arms most of the time. No more of those fake video game super hero capes in mmos!

Anything else, really. The tabbards are too heraldic, & there's nothing heroic about a herald or a squire. A banner, like a flag that can be carried. Maybe shield designs or emblems placed on armor?
