A few questions before I buy.

I am about to buy Elder Scrolls Unlimited for the Xbox One. I have a few questions if someone can answer for me please. First I bought ESO as soon as it came out but never got past the first month free subscription. So only played 2 months of it. When I buy ESU, do I use the same account I made for the PC since I will be using my same email address? Is it simple to do? Will it cause me any problems?

Second question is there is the difference between Premium Edition and Imperial Edition. I can't see any difference except for the 5500 crowns you get for the Premium edition. Other than that are they the same?

Third question, going from PC and only playing 2 months to Xbox One, what should I expect or do.

I believe you can use the same account. But be aware that because you did not take advantage of the transfer offer, your characters on PC will not have been copied over to the Console version, so you will have to start anew.

About what to expect: Since you have been away for a long time, you will have to reacquaint yourself with the game. It's changed quite a bit.

I really don't know the difference between the two editions. Sorry.

Welcome back! And remember you can always come back to PC. :-)

Stay on PC, play with a B2P account that you used.

You'll only miss out on xp / gold / research time bonuses and other small things.

Thank you Alnilame. Greatly appreciated. I hope it's an easy transition. I don't even know my password or can reset it without any trouble.

    Why not do it Might_oakk?

I tried PC again, and just don't like the controls. While I did play ESO with a controller it still felt a bit off. I am hoping that on the Xbox One the controller experience will be like on Skyrim/Oblivion/Morrowind and I will enjoy ESOU (Is it called Elderscorlls online Unlimited now correct?) more. I am not really a mouse and keyboard type person anymore after playing 1000s of hours of Morrowind/Oblivion and Skyrim on Xbox. Just so use to a controller now.

Id suggest googling the video called 'eso so lonely'

In general people seem to prefer the pc experience over console.

That being said if you are a serious pvp'r itsounds like console cyrodil is smoother then pc.

-No your Xbox Live account is what you use.
-The email address on your Xbox live account will be the email for this game.
-Once you log on the first time you will be asked to link your Xbox live account to a Zenimax account. Whatever information is on your Zenimax account will link to your Xbox live account done on the Xbox one ESO game itself.

Yes the difference is the DLC and crowns bundled with each

-Expect what was on the June 9th PC build with controller support. A different UI for the console. No keyboard or mouse support and voice chat only. No text chat

    -PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

I feel obliged to tell you there is no text chat, most coms is voice either group chat or guild chat. I love it. But many PC players are having a hard time adjusting.

The controller feels great with rumble feed back, even picking locks is cool.

Xbox one may be getting mouse and keyboard support.

I bought it. Finally. After 2 hours of trying to buy it, and over an hour with Xbox One support finally got to get the game to download. Man that was frustrating. I just hope everything else is easy sailing now.

Although I wish you the best, you do know that you will be playing the downgraded version of the game, right?

I'm sorry but it's a mistake to buy the lesser version just for the controller. They are adding controller support on PC pretty soon. I bought the Xbox One version first because I thought my XBL buddies were going to get it, but they ended up skipping on it. Waste of money. I got the PC version on sale, and I am so happy I did. It's 10x better. Graphics are much better, text chat, better customization thanks to add ons, and it's just a more social friendly experience. Going from 30fps to 60+fps made a huge difference, the experience feels super smooth. You're going to notice the downgrade big time dude.

Congrats, I think you're going to have a fun time. People on console are pretty easy going. I got it on PS and I Frakkin love it.

Well if he/she is used to an xbox, maybe not. I personally prefer the PC version as well but not everyone does.

Anyway good luck buddy, I hope you enjoy ESOTU this time around. ^.^

Just keep your money us console players get no attention like for example how they haven't even answered why there is no text chat on console they completely ignore most suggestions that have anything to do with text chat on console or any other matter for that reason zenimax has to be the worst gaming company ever when it comes to customer service
