Most potential for group content solo

Won't be able to do much grouping for a while due to RL stuff, so I was wondering what class has the most potential to solo content meant for more than 1 player like Craglorn, vet world bosses/dolmens, etc

I've read that certain Sorc pet builds are great for it, but I don't know if I want to deal with pets. Are there other classes/builds that will be just as powerful and survivable?

Pet Sorc for normal dungeons and even vet dungeons that do not have mechanics that make it impossible.
Sap Tanks Magicka NB can do most of that also and so can some stamina builds.
Dragon knights and Templars can do some also.

For simple stuff like world bosses, dolmens and soloable Crag though every class can do them equally easy with the right builds.

Pet sorcs are the easiest though, since they have a tank and the mother of all spammable damage shields.They also do not depend that much on gear or outside skills like caltrops or Vigor to function. I was able to solo some normal dungeons at around lvl 30 only with a simple crafted Seducer set and some junk jewels.

I would suggest either magicka Sorc (like me!) or magicka NB, for all the reasons @PBpsy said. Although I'm a Breton, I would roll an Altmer if I had to do it again... the extra regen is pretty important.

If you want a stamina build, instead, then I would recommend a Dragonknight with 2H and 1H+S as weapons. Use Brawler from the 2H line to handle groups of mobs, so that you get the damage shield that increases with the # of targets. The reason I recommend DK is because of their "Chains" ability or whatever its called. To make Brawler most effective, you need to clump all your enemies together. As for race, I would choose Imperial so you can stack health AND stamina pretty high, but there are other good options.

There is recent footage of a DK soloing the last boss in Vet DSA that I thought was pretty damn impressive and close to impossible with a Pet Sorc.

If you do decide to go stamina, I tend to solo most packs in Craglorn with bombard (bow) for the immobilise, position myself, then mash brawler/power extraction until they are all dead. Of course, it falls apart a little when you're against flying enemies - in that case I thank Stendarr for my brawler shield.

It also helps to identify any ranged attackers early and get rid of them (especially if you're squishy).
