The AntiRoller Sorcerer Queen

I am having fun with my new VR12 Sorcerer named Merchant Queen now. She was stuck at VR6 before coz her only purpose is to sell things.

But things changed when she was ganked by an NB, she survived but she failed to chase that dirty Khajiit who keep on rolling towards the cliff where he met his death. Queen just want to give him a painful killing blow. She asked advice from Sheliza. And she said, I would love to call you, The AntiRoller Queen.

1st Skill Bar (DPS)
1. Crystal Fragments
2. Streak
3. Mage Wrath
4. Curse
5. Force Pulse
6. Soul Assault

2nd Skill Bar (Survival/Support)
1. Mutagen
2. Streak
3. Harness Magicka
4. OP Ward
5. Healing Ward
6. Power Overload

Power Overload Toggle (AntiRoller Mode)
1. Restraining Prison
2. Streak
3. Daedric Tomb
4. OP Ward (to stay safe)
5. Curse

I will not go through 1st and 2nd Skill Bar. I will just briefly explain the AntiRoller Mode.
1. This skill combo requires high IQ of anticipation. You need to anticipate where the roller is going, Daedric Tomb will be deadly if you put it correctly on his way, 3 mines exploding on him along with the curse will do pretty much damage.
2. Detect pots are required as most NB dodgers use cloak too.
3. Streak, Restraining Prison, Daedric Tomb will slow him down while dealing damage
4. Hardened ward is on the bar for OP safety measures
5. If you got him on your mines, prison or his stunned with streak, time to toast him with Power Overload heavy attack.

If you are actually going to use a destro staff I could not agree more. This build could be a lot better.

Completely disagree. Any competent Sorc can Streak + Bash in the same time it would take to use Crushing Shock, but Force Pulse deals significantly more damage.

That is under the assumption however that you´re within 20m proximity to your target AND want to actually get close to them. I could manage for solo play but every time i´m grped and therefor attract more people chasing the ranged interrupt is a million times more valuable than 10% dmg

There difference is actually far less than 10% damage anyways.

Crushing Shock is superior (even though I run Force Pulse on my Sorc because I'm too lazy to switch it and I hate destro)

Also, Power Overload Heavy attack will hit a dodge roller without him being rooted. Light attacks are far more effective to hit a rooted/stunned player.

If I ever see some sorc going all Palpatine on me I'll crit charge him, follow it up with a bash and dodge roll animation cancelled wrecking blow incapacitating strike combo that will kill anyone without an insane shield stack who isn't dodge rolling by now.

Heavy Power overload attacks should never be used against skilled players unless you're trying to taunt/bait them.

Streak does not have the range of Shock.
Streak + Bash takes longer to pull off as well.
Streak + Bash also use way more resources than 1 application of Crushing Shock.
CS always works when applied to someone channeling, whereas Streak/Bash combo is much more reliant on positioning, timing, and latency. Also it underperforms in 1vX.

No, this build above is lackluster and could be improved greatly.

Of course any competent sorc can streak and bash, at the cost of lots valuable resources, as most sorcs run minimal stamina. Crushing shock allows you to be able to interrupt from a far difference, at the cost of minimal resources. I can't count the amount of times it has saved me open world.

But then again, this is coming from an almost entirely solo player.
