Werewolves should have skills that consume own unique resource. The sum of your stamina and magicka.

Basically, whenever you transform, your max mana and max stamina are added up and that's the max total of your rage bar.

As a werewolf this is what you consume to unleash your attacks. This would allow for both magicka based caster builds and stamina based melee/physical damage builds to be effective in werewolf form.

Once you break out of werewolf form, your stamina and mana will be empty.

Why after breaking form would they not have any stamina/ magica?

While I like where you're going with this, the QQ mobs would whine so much your ears would bleed.

Just having a magicka and a stamina morph for each WW skill would solve most of the problem.

Frankly, I think both disease skill lines need to be revamped to allow magicka or stamina builds to be able to play either disease effectively. In reality, not ever magicka user would be a vampire and not every stamina user would be a werewolf. That would be like saying werewolves only turn buff, athletic people and vampires only turn nerds. It doesn't happen that way where the lore is concerned.

Just a thought. Because they're "exhausted." After Hulking out, the Hulk wants to take a nap?

Conversely, they could come back with full stamina and magicka or half stamina and half magicka because Hircine said so.

The idea is that you lose your mind. You hulk out into a magical monstrous creature. Your body changes and a part of your brain changes when you transform.

You don't use stamina or magicka like a normal man or mer. You're drive by rage, instinct.

Your resource bars get merged together into rage while you're a werewolf. Your skill bar changes. Your abilities drain both your physical and magical energies.

I totally understand what you're saying and it makes sense from the standpoint of lore. However, as a game mechanic, I think it would be too powerful. The last thing WW needs is to have an update that makes it too powerful because the result will be a couple months of endless whining, followed by a nerf so hard that WW might as well become a costume instead of a skill line.

Or just make it consume Ultimate like Overload does...
This has been brought up repeatedly since launch.

Technically if it were a toggle that used the ultimate for attacks and skills, then you could stay in forever. Devour would give back a tiny amount of ultimate and all extension of ww timer would regen a small amount of ultimate... but those would be the only in form ultimate generation means beyond passives

It wouldn't be too powerful. The resource cost of each ability would be reformulated.

All this change would do is making Werewolf effective no matter what you stack, magicka or stamina. The complicated issue comes with passives that affect magicka and stamina, since they could be useless. Your stamina and magicka regen abilities could not work on rage unless the developers go back and make them also affect rage.

As werewolves are now, if you aren't running stamina build as a WW, you're basically gimped. This opens up WW to magicka users. You can be running stam or magicka, you'll still be able to hulk out in a werewolf and be on par with all the other werewolves.
