Bow-users in PvP WTF?

Why are they able to literally ONE shot you with no effort whatsoever? what's going on?

I just spent over 200k AP on HEAVY armor and re-skilled to Heavy Passives, lots of resistance to spell & physical and yet I'm being 1 shotted by Vet 14 Nightblades with bows? Spells like Camouflaged Hunter hitting me for 12k+ a pop, focus aimed and even Soul Tether? I'm even blocking like CRAZY LOL

We need that 50% damage reduction so bad.

It's because Expert/Evil/Camouflaged Hunter is currently bugged and can be stacked multiple times to one-shot pretty much anything, whether it's players in Cyrodiil, or mobs in PvE. Unfortunately, there are many players taking advantage of this exploit. This exploit is also commonly used in conjunction with Caltrops both in PvP and against PvE group dungeon bosses.

Armor pen bug. Doesnt matter if you have 35k armor or 0 .. if they are using the exploit you have zero armor to them.

It doesn't matter if the OP is a vampire or not, the exploit works against any player or PvE mob.

It doesn't matter if the OP is a vampire or not, the exploit works against any player or PvE mob.

Just like Akavir said it does not matter. The PvE exploits have made their way into PvP some time ago and now it has caught on like wildfire. Something that should be a 4% chance on humanoids is proccing all the time and in some cases much harder than it should.

It isn't a "pve" exploit. It's a skills exploit that like any other takes forever to get fixed.

If you read what was said, it was for the most part used in PvE and then like many skill exploits made its way into PvP. Minus the elemental wall issue back in 1.4/5

Skills are skills. Some are bugged. They can be used anywhere. Therefore it's not a pvp or pve exploit. It's a skill exploit.

ZOS could totally fix it you know, by divorcing PVP and PVE. Skills for PVE and Skills for PVP.....and an end to nerfs on PVE side

It's just happened again, so I've recorded it in case anybody doesn't know what I mean(?) (small clip) and yes it was by the same guy, not mentioning names since It's apparently against the rules but the death cap was yet again Camouflaged Hunter.

Skill is so broken my cha casts it without me even pressing the button. I'm running around killing stuff and she suddenly decides mid run to cast camo hunter lol.

That's awful... I've been lucky to not run into that yet. I hope that gets fixed in the next patch. Also be nice if they started logging who was making use of it.

As far i know, the only thing you can stack with camo hunter and evil is the timer. Farm 100 zombies with camo for 5 minutes and you have it for hours. Until you die of course and have to farm it all over again. The only thing I see wrong is gankers being skilled enough to proc camo hunter twice while in stealth using enchants and cloak. Its not going to one shot anything, but will hit freaking hard from stealth. Don't spread misinformation about some exploit. The tool tips need to fixed, or the skill because it still works the same as it did in 1.5 with its longevity after killing zombies.

I know how it works, thank you very much, I have this bug on two of my characters. The damage can be stacked multiple times by simply pressing the button for Camouflage Hunter multiple times and using it within 15 seconds. The duration doesn't just last for hours, it never ends. I've had this bug on two of my characters for over a month. Camouflaged Hunter is active on my weapons as soon as I log in without me even having to cast it.

Snipe up into the air->switch to DW maces bar while the arrow is up for ultimate armor penetration. So you gain the benefit of snipe with the weapon damage of dual wield and armor pen of dual maces which is bugged btw.

heh, Ok i've been doing this for a very long time..

The way Camo hunter works is whenever you attack from a Sneak attack it does the damage proc...However if multiple hits hit at the same time Camo Hunter doesn't just pick one, they'll all get it.

This is partly why things like Snipes Cast time was lowered and the arrow sped up..Because you use to be able to Snipe/heavy attack charge/venom arrow/light attack and proc 4 Camo's at once.

Right now you can do a Snipe/Venom Arrow combo fairly easy for 2 Camo's as you won' get the Heavy off usually unless they're max range.

Its not a bug and that's how its always worked.

He still has to land a sneak attack from behind you, he also has to stack buffs and Camo hunter. he is also a glass cannon and will die to 1 shot by another glass cannon

For your information: You can oneshot players with under 23k health WITHOUT using any exploit/hack

Just using:

Rally -> Grim Focus -> Magelight (for Might of the guild, 20% dmg buff) -> sneak -> snipe -> dead (if not, apply a quick lightattack+poison injection)
And some specific sets to maximize your weapondmg+max stamina+ bow-attacks damage and using only stam / stam+mana / stam+health food.

If you have no damage shield on, not blocking, and less than 23k health, you can get oneshot without.
If you are vamp and one have camo hunter on: then you're a shining christmas tree with a huge sign "ONE SHOT ME"

Tough there IS a exploit/bug happening according to people, but I don't know anything about that. Haven't done it, nor do I need to

I quit PVP for a long time, decided to wander into Cyrodiil one night, bored. Died like 20 times to this exploit in an hour. Won't be back. The fact that they refuse to fix s**t like this while pumping my little pony crap out of the crown store and nerfing the hell out of classes for no reason and seemingly ignoring many other issues makes me wonder why I still have the game installed.

That's because it is bugged. I've reported it, as have many others, and I received back a reply that they are looking into a fix. Try again.
