Best way to spend?

What up. Am new to the game; I just bought the monthly what's the best way to spend this? I have 2,000 right now and am horseless. A bit tired from running all over the dang world. Also if there's anything else I should get let me know

Comes down to preference. If you don't think you'll stay subbed long-term you might want to bank your points and use them to buy DLC so you will still have access after you un-sub. I personally don't spend crowns on mounts or costumes but there are new options every month if that's your thing.

I wouldn't buy the racial motiffs personally. They can still be found in the game world and other than the rare ones can be purchased for a few hundred gold from other players if you have one you really want. To be fair though I'm thinking about PC prices when I say that so console players might see higher prices since the game is new there.
I don't always drink Skooma, but when I do I go to the Southwall Corner Club. May you walk on warm sands my friends.

you can always get the beginner pack, comes with a horse, a pet and potions. Or wait until you have more crowns the following month for imperial edition to get a mudcrab pet, a white horse, Mara rings(?) and the ability to make an Imperial character. Like mentionned, don't get racial motifs, at least not yet.

Well, everyone who doesn't buy the imperial edition starts without a mount, I did too. You need 10k gold to buy the first mount, which you can achieve by level 16 or so. At first the mount isn't really faster than walking/sprinting, so it's not that big of a loss in the begining of the the game, it also encourages people to explore more, while with the horse it's somehow harder to navigate and you may have to lose it from time to time if you need to climb on a certain spot or whatever. And there are the wayshrines all over the map, which can literally take you anywhere within seconds, so I don't see any point in spending Crowns on things that can be acquired with gold, eventually.

I personally enjoy having it hard and rough in the start - it motivates me to learn and become better, while if I had it too easy from the start, I would have probably been bored with the game and not play it at all.

You need to set your priorities - do you want to start off with boosts - mounts, extra XP, etc. ... or you want to be like everyone else, experiencing the game the way it was meant to be and getting mounts and other luxuries when the time comes? Figure this out for yourself and go for it. :) Listening to opinions is good, but don't get too affected from them, do what your instinct tells you to do with those 2k Crowns. Have fun!

I would recommend to unsubscribe as fast as possible, not to waste money on imaginary goods that can vanish or be rendered worthless any time, to work less and enjoy more whatever you enjoy, unless it is exactly spending, in which case I would seek professional help.

Pledge of Mara is included with the Imperial Edition. The only thing that's separate is any race and alliance which was the pre-order bonus but is also available as an upgrade on the crown store.
