Question about Enduring Rays passive (Templar)

I read somewhere that increasing duration doesn't actually add additional ticks to the skill, instead it just increases duration and spreads out the damage throughout the increased time.

Is that still in effect now or has it been fixed? Also, would it be beneficial to have it with Radiant Destruction?

The passive increases the duration of the line of spells. The specific spells affected by it would have their ticks increased. For example: If X spell lasts for 12 seconds and ticks for X amount of damage every 2 seconds, it would tick 6 times. With the passive, the duration would now be 16 seconds (again an example) thus the spell would tick for a total of 8 times. So, no it doesn't increase ticks, only duration, the spell itself will depend on how many extra ticks occur.

Your statement is confusing. This one sentence says there is no increase in ticks, but that there are extra ticks. The rest of the paragraph leading up to this makes the same contradiction. I'm not sure what information you ate trying to convey, but I think you should proofread your posts before submitting.

To the OP: As I understand it, the damage is not increased. It is spread out over a longer duration. The best part of this duration increase are the effects, such as the snare, heal debuff, etc. That's where it really shines.
