More and more lag

I have been noticing lag in the game wherever I go. Most of the times I am not around other people or I am in a solo dungeon and I am still experiencing lag. While I don't have the top internet out there I am no where close to the cheapest. I am not sure what is going on here and have tried leaving zones, exiting and reentering the game, and even disconnecting and reconnecting my router. I have never had problems with any other games on my Xbox and ESO played just fine without lag (exception being in PVP) on PC. Does anyone know how I can improve this? It is starting to become a big problem for me.
