Hello,
The Templar skill Sun Shield is one of the abilities that drew me to the class. I made an entire build around it which performs well enough in a PvE environment. When I tried it in Cyrodiil I learned quite fast there it is no place for high health builds. In order to pump up health, you sacrifice your all too important stats Magicka and Stamina. Health does nothing for you in PvP right now. Choosing it over Magicka or Stamina is like entering a UFC match with one arm tied behind your back - you will not be able to compete in the high burst, mobile arena that is 1.6.
The upcoming changes to PvP have me concerned for Sun Shield. It is already on life support in PvP and reducing it even further will make it obsolete. In order for it to survive there is one simple change that needs to be made.
The Absorb amount needs to be determined by the players highest stat
I also think Radiant Ward needs to be looked at because it is much weaker than its alternative. Possible suggestions:
-make it stamina based to help round out stamina builds.
-Have the shield blind for 5m around when it breaks.
-Have the shield place a reasonable HoT on the player when it breaks.
