So far there seems to be 5 ways to gain Telvar stones (tvs) and 3 ways to lose them.

How to Gain Tvs
1. Kill all monsters. Small monsters are 4, Champions are 12, Small Bosses are 100, Big Bosses are like 400.
2. Kill players and take their Telvar Stones. Atm the system allows a player to take 100% of another players Telvar Stones when they kill them.
3. Treasure chests in the districts.
4. Daily Quests inside the IC. You can earn boxes from these that have tvs.
5. Some event in the Sewers.

How to Lose Tvs
1. Get killed by players (Atm 100%)
2. Get killed by monsters (Atm 10%)
3. Bank Deposit fee for depositing the tvs (50 tvs fee)

If i missed anything please let me know guys.

    So there's a penalty for putting these in your bank? IMO that is utterly ridiculous. Your penalized for trying to hang onto these....

    No, that is a misinterpretation - there is no fee, there is a 50 stone minimum requirement in order to deposit stones, so you cannot go and bank 4 stones, you need to give at least 50 at a time.

    I'm not buying the game pack until I know how many of these ridiculous stones we need to do anything with them.
    I'm sure that sticker shock is a feature they're saving for after you purchase it.

    Awesome, I took that to mean there was a 50 stone deposit fee to place them in there, or a 50% fee. So we will only be able to deposit them in groups of 50 from the sounds of it. Better be safe and as soon as you get 50, run to the bank!

    Yes. Originally there was going to be a fee but in internal testing they decided not to do that. Even though the ESO Live footage showed a fee, they also stated that that will not be in game. Just have to deposit 50 or more at a time.

    LOL! Wow! Penalizing players for depositing their stones? And I thought I'd seen everything.

    As previously mentioned, that is not the case. During internal testing they realised it was a terrible idea and removed it. It is free to deposit but you need at least 50 to do so.

I can't wait to see people try to defend the Gank'n'Loot mechanic when they see that VR16 gear costs 250,000 Tel Var stones apiece, but the daily IC quests only net you 50 stones per box. Sound unlikely? Think I'm exaggerating? Take a look at the outrageously high AP prices for VR14 gear at the vendors in Cyrodiil.

    They already said a basic creature drops 4 stones and a mini boss drops 40. banking stones requires 50. So right there that means farming for 10 minutes will make you alot of stones that can be banked and are NO LONGER VULNERABLE to losing. Yes gear may cost ALOT of stones but it will be very easy to bank stones and not lose them. As long as you play smart and dont get greedy and wait hours to bank them you should have no problem keeping them from gankers

    As for gankers.... This is not a random open pvp server from some game where a gank can stay forever in a remote place killing people without ever being killed. This is a AVA game with enemy teritory risk. If someone come to YOUR side in the IC to gank they are putting them selves at risk, especally the closer they come to an enemy sides safe zone. if a farmer stays close to their side they will be much safer. As that ganker gets closer he is risking his stones much more now. For the most park gankers always end up dieing, so they lose everything they have gotten, and some lucky farmer or person in teh right place at the right time will get them (then go bank them)

    So for the most part Farmers will be making and banking more stones than gankers.

    Yeah, with the 400 count payout for small bosses, you know your looking at 250k gear prices bare minimum.

    Not when those farmers have to go through the PVP Sewers to get to their safe alliance spot....
