Stormhaven Rare Ocean Fish Issue

Hello forum,
A little while ago I walked along the entirety of Stormhaven's coast to do a bit of fishing and catch those rare ocean fish. However, I noticed something strange almost immediately: I caught the blue rare fish in my very first fishing hole. Now granted, RNG can sometimes be a doll and throw me a bit of good luck now and then. It wouldn't be the first time it has happened, even though I find there is usually one blue rare fish in each zone that takes far longer than the rest do.
So feeling giddy with my good luck I went off to the next hole I could find to sweep up the remaining two green rare fish before moving on to other water types. In my second fishing hole I caught one of the green rare fish... and then another blue rare fish. I thought this could still be luck at play, but I was beginning to get suspicious. However I knew something was definitely up when I caught a blue fish at my third hole, and then the fourth, and the fifth, and so on. All the while I had yet to find that final green fish.
By the time I had made my way across the map, my spoils looked something like this:
Longfin 80
Dhufish 72
Alcaire Pike (blue) 12
Stormhaven Flounder (green) 11
Dab (green) 0
It appears to me that the catch rate for the Alcaire Pike and Dab have been mixed up. Has anyone else noticed something like this? Discuss. Or... Please look into it ZOS. (Not that it's that big a deal.)

Parlow✭✭✭Have the same problem, have the last few days about 400 worms and 200 chub consumed while 15x Alcaire Pike and 10x Stormhaven Flounder but get no Dab. Thats not normal.
The blue was often in this spots sometimes 2 times in one hole. In other zones the green fishes appear so often like the blue one in the oceans from Stormhaven.0 -

✭✭Oh yes, took me ages to get the Dab - it should be the blue.
Lots of people have complained about it, some have come up with ideas about how it can be caught - only use chub, etc.
I got it from sheer perseverance.
The RNG gods know when you're approaching completion, and it angers them!0 -

As was mentioned, I looked through some older threads and I also saw people post they caught it using chub with auto-loot off. I did that for some 50 times before I finally got the Dab.
That might have been a factor, or it might have just been good fortune.
As for the other locations in Stormhaven, I had no trouble getting the Dreugh Shrimp and Gray Loach after only a dozen casts or so. The Silver Walleye took a bit of time though...0 -

Ah yes the ever elusive Dab. That one was tough, to get, there are others that just plain are horrible. I got the master fishing achievement after the XP drinks came out. To put it in perspective I have over 300xp drinks from all the perfect roe I got from skinning fish.
My number one recomendation is fish in at least a group of 3, it helps to fish in groups with rares.

I know this is over a year old - but the same problem still exsisits. Dab was by far hardest of the ocean fish.. but I've been fishing three days for Silver Walleye and still nothing. I have collected over 1000fish. It's killing me.0
