ability combinations
I'm looking for the name of an ability or two based on the visual effect and the effect it had on my character when it was cast on me.
Bow user player-character (not sure what class) cast a spell or ability on me... A beam of light was above and surrounding me, I was stuck in place and then (the second ability or ability combo)there was a bleed effect bolt and the bow killed me in three hits from afar.
Vague description. Apologies. The only reason I'm asking about this is because I would like to know how to counter this particular combo.

Zsymon✭✭✭✭The beam of light sounds like Focused Aim, a morph of the Snipe ability. It probably stunned you as a sneak attack.
If you get stunned you need to use LMB + RMB to break free.Edited by Zsymon on July 20, 2015 7:30AM1 -
RavenSworn✭✭✭✭✭A beam of light above you? Was it reddish-black? If it was it seems like it was piercing mark / reapers mark then a sneak stun focused aim.
If it was a Templar, it might be the power of the light ability and then a few snipes into it.
