If you take a higher risk by carrying many stones you can get a nice bonus multiplyer (100 stones for 2x, 1,000 stones for 3x, 10,000 stones for 4x)

Losing "only" 50% or whatever is NOT going to make PvEers feel any better about being robbed!

I like this idea
as it was I wasn't even considering doing this due to the all or nothing bit going on..
Nothing heats the blood faster than spending hours on something and losing it all due to somebody who has spent months power leveling points to make their chars a god by comparison and watching them loot your body of all your hard work in turn making them even more powerful
this type of system rewards the people who have infinite time and harms those who actually have responsibilities

Source please?
Also, I could find better uses for that crystal ball that predicts the future.
Mind throwing it this way?

Easy. Compare the number of active forum accounts against the small number of unique accounts posting in threads asking for winner takes all PvP. Now compare that tiny number to the number of copies ESO sold on console.

And before you say this is a representative sample.
No.
Only a CERTAIN type of player visits the forums. Many are simply happy playing the game.
