Tel-Var Carrying Bonus and Looting Risk/Reward

So it sounds like you will get bonus Tel-Var stones the more you carry:
If you take a higher risk by carrying many stones you can get a nice bonus multiplyer (100 stones for 2x, 1,000 stones for 3x, 10,000 stones for 4x)

However, the looting risk should scale in a similar way. My suggestion:

0-99 Tel-Var Stones = Lose 25% on death
100-999 Tel-Var Stones = Lose 50% on death
1000-9999 Tel-Var Stones = Lose 75% on death
10000+ Tel-Var Stones = Lose 100% on death

So low rewards early on, but low risk. High rewards as you carry more stones, but higher risk.

This will let players find the risk/reward ratio they are comfortable with.

NO to this and all other "percentage" schemes that have been proposed. Why? Because they seek to legitimize a fatally flawed scheme that the vast majority of players did not ask for, do not want and will not enjoy.

Losing "only" 50% or whatever is NOT going to make PvEers feel any better about being robbed!

    I like this idea

as it was I wasn't even considering doing this due to the all or nothing bit going on..

Nothing heats the blood faster than spending hours on something and losing it all due to somebody who has spent months power leveling points to make their chars a god by comparison and watching them loot your body of all your hard work in turn making them even more powerful

this type of system rewards the people who have infinite time and harms those who actually have responsibilities
This is were my signature would be if I was allowed one.

I also like this idea. There NEEDS to be risk and reward.
Falls-With-Grace ~ Shadowscale (Argonian Night Blade)
Selique Lasra ~ Captain, Smuggler, Swashbuckler (Redguard Templar)
Chases-Comets ~ Shellback Warrior (Argonian Dragon Knight)
Slissix-Kir ~ Swamp Shaman (Argonian Sorcerer)
    Hail Sithis..

The Imperial City is in the middle of the alliance wars. This is not a zone designated for PVErs. Hence they are not going to break their back to cater to them, they in fact are trying to make a different PVP option for people to play at their own risk.

BUT they also went ahead and made boxes that contained stones upon completing quests in the area that CANNOT be looted upon death. Meaning questers as long as they don't open the boxes.

Stop looking at the glass half empty, this is a PVP zone expect PVP.

    Source please?

Also, I could find better uses for that crystal ball that predicts the future.
    Mind throwing it this way?

PvE players are not entitled to romp about a PvP zone unscathed. Do what I'm doing- attempting to learn PvP mechanics and just get plain better.

Yeah, I agree but there was a group of forum posters who want the old school winner takes all no one is your friend style PvP.
    Cause this is war right?

I know CNN is always reporting about that one group of seasoned soldiers that led the fresh recruits into a terrorist den just to loot all their Mac n cheese MREs.

This is as close as zos wanted to get to what those guys were begging for.

Those guys would have all of your corpse loot able.

It figures the only people cool with the stones are the people with the max characters.
The same guys who now have to grind mobs and try to report other Plyer for interfering with their grinding. (That was a great real thread look it up). Because they have to get to vet 16 so their friends don't use them as stone bait.

The update includes a lot more than the stone system that's why I still think its a value. Focus on that.

Easy. Compare the number of active forum accounts against the small number of unique accounts posting in threads asking for winner takes all PvP. Now compare that tiny number to the number of copies ESO sold on console.

The stones system is appeasing the tiniest fraction of the entire community which includes several times more than the fraction commenting here.

And before you say this is a representative sample.
    No.

Only a CERTAIN type of player visits the forums. Many are simply happy playing the game.

Hey, I'm not the one claiming to represent a minority/majority without a inch of evidence to back me up and I fail to see what sales figures has to do with how people feel about a certain topic.

You are making the same mistake as @Emma_Eunjung here, thinking you know what majority or minority thinks.

You could just as well say "majority of US citizens would vote me for president", and it'd be equally truthful.

The only way to measure public opinion is by polls, so feel free to start one.
Thanks to margin of error, we can actually get the public opinion with 99% confidence, even with a tiny sample size

That's great, then we keep 100% loot and whiny PvErs go elsewhere. That way we get less ragetells and bad behaviour too..
