not feeling it anymore...

i quess i am burnt out. i really like elder scrolls, but i am just not clicking with this game any longer.. been playing since beta, been through the same ups and downs as you fine folks, and for some reason everytime i log on i cant last more then 1/2 hour....

is there any thing i can do too bring back the life of this game for me?

i tried all the classes, sorc i think is my fav but shes vet 1 rank and i parked her.. not looking forward to the gold /silver thing...

nightblade is close 2nd at level 32, but i have bugs/gameplay issues when on nightblade , very frustrating. just feels coded wrong or something but lag spikes, weapon attacks , stealth , just feels very buggy to me. most of my gameplay issues are only on this class. ( things not working )

templar as my third level 22, just not digging it but i do love the heal, but other then that , thats all i like from that class..

do you suggest a break / wait for downloads? more vodka? just doesnt feel right....which sucks! cause its my fav lore!!!! did ZOS force me to break up with elder scrolls?...

Take a break. With any game, you play for x amount of time, you'll start to get like that.

I would suggest a break and either play another game or other hobbies until you feel like you can enjoy the game again. I have played since launch too but I remedy it by playing other games and I always keep coming back for more ESO. TBH playing one game for too long is just going get boring.

I left old games I no longer liked, still pretty new to this game. Under 2 weeks and just gamed a lot already level 40+. If there's anything that can be said is that being on Dagger Fall has boosted moral in at least logging in casually later on if I chose to. Of course I wouldn't mind trying other classes, not interested in grinding again though am contempt with what I have. I myself would love a full retail release of H1Z1, something like Warframe is something I let go of though.

i did try other games, all over the board really..

gw2, star wars , the new skyforge ,back to mass effect...skyrim ( all time fav game ever) i personally like open world rpg games, and mmos, but this doesnt feel like a mmo to me for some reason lol ..i like you keep coming back because deep down inside i know this game could be fierce but its not there.... quess im tired of waiting.

Taking a break would work.

Alternatively, you might try some unusual approach, for example if your NB is a medium armor DW/bow spec, try playing him as a heavy armor 1h+s/2H spec with siphoning or some other wacky combo. If you exchange whole bar of abilities for something else, the same class plays very differently.

sharee, that is my set up now on my nightblade,, i just logged off about 45 minutes ago, was shooting the bow and heard a whirling whistle noise and my arrow sat on my hand i was like ...no.....just no.... logged off in frustration.

i was going to make the nightblade a magicka user, but i dont know/not sure which spells work , i tried them myself and i wasnt feeling the effect of it . boring nothing flashy or anything.

oh well .. sorc is kinda flashy and love the mines , thought about doing a bow with pet and mines/ support , but am i gimping myself and team members when the lfg finally does go off?

i dont want to be negative and i know it sounds like thats all i am , but i really want to love this game, i just feel like im forcing myself to swallow everything i dont like about it to try to get some enjoyment out of it...

You cant force yourself to love the game, it will just happen, if it does at all. Id say seriously consider taking a small break. Wait for new content... if content isnt your issue and its more just crap in the game buggin you, again, wait a bit. Maybe in time it will feel right. Or maybe it wont and you just need to wait for the new Elder Scrolls lol!

I'm in the same boat, except my reason is that they nerfed Argonians, removed soft caps, and made me feel like I'm playing handicapped and wasting my time.

Take a break and see how you feel later.

Picking this out as it sounds like you're waiting for groups (I'm assuming PC here because of the other games listed)
Do you have a good guild? It's usually much easier to find groups then sitting around waiting for that semi-functional group finder to work. I can certainly understand how you'd get bored in that situation.

Take one of your toons into Blackwater Blade, find a good guild with a commander who knows what he is doing and enjoy limitless hours of PvP fun. It's the best content in the game currently.

yes this is pc, and yeah i was in one guild for the longest time, well from the start.... but three people out of 300 log in now me and 2 others..so i joined two more guilds....and its still three.......................so yes grouping is a pain when your friends are not on..

i do meet people along the way which i friend but i think i get confused if i dont put a note on their name because of the way the naming is... like handles? or code names? so remembering who is who is bad when i drink martinis and game..

i was thinking about doing pvp but i have a beast computer ( 980 gtx, 3770k proc, 16 gigs ram , 1200 volts, and fiber optic) and i have to say..... lagalitis in pvp! i dont think it matters how bad or good your rig is , i cant explain it but its borked.

so yeah theres that... lol
i stay away from pvp.

I just change games when I get bored. Play ESO for a few hours, move to FFXIV for a few hours, load up Destiny for a few hours, repeat.

Too much routine doesn't make you happy and is not satisfying, no matter if this is your job or a game.

Blackwater has very little lags because most non-vets don't have the skills yet that are largely responsible for the lags.
