Level 43 and done all quests???

I am playing a NB and only level 43, I only have Two more Main Quests achievements left to do for my pact. where have I gone wrong, done all delves and boss fights. Do I move onto other pact areas now or is that only when you reach VR1???

You can start other zones as soon as completing the main questline.

But everything is vet rank 1.

Unless you play a bit of pvp, it seems quite normal for people to get to vet zones around rank 45

Did you complete mages & fighters guild? Personal story? find all the side quests? As not all are tied in with achievements in each zone.
Next place you'll head to should be Cold Harbor after finishing the main quests.

1, I have to decide who is going to die out of the group. (kept details out as I don't want to spoil plot)
2 Save the king.

Just saying, I done all of the EP quest on my main, and was VR1 before I ever went to coldharbour. I was half way to VR2 before I finished coldharbour.

Somewhere down the line, you people that finish the main story and such and are hitting Cadwell Silver at 45-49 are DEFINITELY missing quest somewhere.

Comes with experience for some. My main was always 1/2 a level behind, right through veteran zones too. My latest alt is 3 levels ahead of the quest level requirements for Cold Harbor.

I will take some pics and put them up later. all quest achievements have been done apart from 2 and from what I have now been informed these are main line quests. I spent all last night riding around each map looking for anything I missed and as stated I cannot find any?

I'm 100% positive that you have not finished all the quests in your zone, without a doubt.

Because speaking from experience, even when I start new alts and try to do all quests, during skyshard/lorebook runs ill find about 20 more quests to do...

Not saying you're a liar but I definitely am claiming that you're wrong to say you've done all the quests.

If you are only 43 and finished everything then you must be one of those types who pretty much skip killing mobs while you are questing. I hit a VR 1 before finishing cold harbor.

No way have you done all the quests in each zone, just impossible, I still find undone quests in most zone's on my VR14. I did go into Cryodill to do quests there to finish up the last quarter of VR13.

People seem to rush rush rush to Level up and find themselves in your situation. Sorry.

Oh and grinding (or exploiting) an area will get you banned so becareful.

There are some (in the beginning) gained way to many levels, items and tons of pvp levels and ap, still can't figure out why most weren't banned.

Been a while since we've seen one of these.. no way in hell have you done all the quests.. install Destinations or Undiscovered and see how much you actually missed. (if you're on PC... if you're on console.. tough luck)

I am a VR14 been playing since launch and have just barely hit 800 quest completed out of 1500. I find it hard to believe a level 43 has nothing to do. I haven't completed any cyridill quests or craglorn and just finished my 2nd area of gold. I only have 1 vr character and my highest alt is 25.

I'm always shocked by these types of posts and one's screaming for new content especially since I play pretty religiously and with 700 quests left just to get the achievement it makes me wonder what kind of attention span or ADHD do you people have. Just sayin'

Yeah, don't take those achievement guides as canon. You can actually earn the achievements without fully clearing a zone. I don't think I've fully cleared a zone anywhere in the game (well, except Cyrodiil), but the only two adventurer achievements I'm missing are Reaper's March and Malabal Tor.

Anyway, if you started the quest to decide who dies... then, decide who dies, and that one dude will tell you that, "nope, it's not time to make that decision yet." Or, more specifically, "nothing will be decided today." Collect your blue ring and skill point, and exit.

Then, save the king, it'll open up the final zone of the game, and get you on the path to finishing the story.

Your spot on mate. I just cant figure out where I have gone wrong? Thought I would come here and get some expert help from gamers who are a bit more switched on than me I can handle being called a liar or even trolled just as long as it gets me back on track.

To be honest, I don't think I did any dungeons when I was originally leveling my main, and she hit VR1 in Cold Harbour.

@Frozann I have done most of the dungeons apart from the ones in Bangkorai as my mates haven't been on for a few days, did try doing some solo, bad idea, I have the reflexes of a slug. I do need to go back and get the rest of the skyshards that are missing, but I have done all the delves and skull and crossbow bosses in the areas that I have access to.

Have you covered any dungeons, dolmens, chests, World Bosses? Were you turning in quests when they were greyed out (overleveled, therefor no XP's for mobs?)

You've had to have missed things, OP, or you've avoided killing a lot of mobs. (Do you engage or stealth past?)

I've a L38 templar that has done almost none of the side quests and I'm not halfway through the main quests for Al'ikir.

I haven't even set foot in Bankorai yet.

Equally, there are more quests than the max number listed on the achieve's in every zone.

You're not irritating people, we're just hoping your account is not terribly bugged.

You might try turning off your Skyrim like mod (sorry, don't know the name of it) and just go riding - scour the outer edges of the maps looking for quest givers you may have missed.

You'll still get the quest turn in XP's regardless. Clear the dolmens, world bosses, group dungeons, group challenges (usually involves something specific in each Public dungeon), and make sure you've cleared the named bosses in most of the dungeons.

Attach pics of your maps for each major area, too. Maybe a missing icon will jump out at one of us.

As it stands, you should have plenty left to do before entering CH.

I'm not sure if anyone has told you this yet, but there are far more quests in the zones rather than just the minimum required to gain the achievements for it. I highly encourage you to download a mod called 'QuestMap' which you can find on esoui.com or by clicking HERE.

Once you have it installed, all you need to do is open your map in a zone and look for an exclamation point. ! on the map and go to it. There are some quests that have multiple locations for where the quest can be picked up, which you can determine which those are simply by hovering over the exclamation point, and some are only available either before, or after, you've completed a requirement, but overall it will help you considerably with finding quests.

Edit: After you have completed the quests where the ! are, they no longer show on your map.

The achievements are not for ALL quests. There are more quests than what is required for the achievement.

Its all about exploring my friend once you explore you'll find a crap load of quests and once you complete main quests you will be able to enter next faction area depending on your alliance type. Aldmeri can do Ebonheart.

You have not done all the quests. Before the +10 XP started I've hit get ranks after completing cold harbor and 2 dungeons. Didn't do main story line, mate or fighters guild.

In other words, you missed a lot of quests along the way.

Also don't check just the Quest log. As others have said you will find many other quest along the way. Make sure to check Exploration and Dungeon log also. I cleared everything also until I looked at them. The dungeons alone I missed a bunch of the bosses. They really need to fix this! The respawn times suck! I missed most because someone had killed them before I got there and saw no body or anything hinting that a boss was there.


Check your map and look for areas that are open and you don't have any icons by. Check those areas because most of the time you will find other hidden areas or towns. Make sure you explore off the roads. If you still haven't found anything go free farming for materials. Don't go to any known point and zigzag your way around them.


I have a buddy I play with and he rushed and kept telling me he cleared all areas. So the other day I asked him if he had done the public dungeons. Of course he said he had. I then said well just come join me so we can play together. Low and behold he had not done a single one. So just keep looking around. There is still more out there to be discovered. Try slowing down a bit and enjoy everything the game has to offer. It's not a race.

As others have mentioned, you are missing quests. The quest achievements are not 100% quest completion achievements. Doesn't look like you're on PC, else there's an addon that will show you all the quest hubs.
