What do reports do?

When you report someone on here how does it work? Like if someone gets 20 does your character get deleted or what happens?

Zenimax probably look into it and if it violates the terms and conditions action will be taken.

I doubt if 20 people reported a character it'd get deleted. It'd be abused beyond Oblivion.

On the forum or in the game? You can be warned, suspended or banned, but it isn't automatic. Not for reports, anyway. There is some kind of automated system detecting botters and such.

They get a warning, 2nd warning gets you 72 hour ban. They will also mute you for a few days to let you know they are getting upset with you. Never got to the perm ban stick but have gotten close.

All they can really do is say we banned a lot of botters today. But if you report person for what ever reason in game, you will never know what happened to them unless they them self post something on some forums.

If you report someone in-game, ZOS will investigate the report, but you will never know the final outcome of your report.
