I have The Steed boon which grants me +5% movement speed, my mount is at about +35% speed from daily trainings, and I have the one skill from the assault skill line that gives another 40% boost, and I don't even know how much running adds to my speed, but it's at least +80% speed overall. After fast traveling to daggerfall, I usually mount my horse, use the skill to boost my speed up 40%, then run to the blacksmithing/clothing/woodworking tables. However, I've had numerous issues with the game seemingly not loading things as fast as I can get to them.
Almost all the time I get very low quality graphics by the time I make it to the woodworking building or further.
I also get the game not loading entire objects, such as crafting tables and NPCs, and I have to wait for them to load, sometimes taking about 15 seconds.
Also, if there are lots of other players nearby, after standing in front of the table's location for a few seconds waiting for it to load in, I'll get shoved into a random loading screen, or sometimes the random loading screen happens after the table loads, and I'm about to make my weapon or deconstruct something.
Less frequently, the door to the building will look like a solid very low quality door that is closed. I can still walk through it no problem, but it looks like I'm clipping through a solid closed door.
Even less frequently, I've had the game completely glitch on me. I raced to the woodworking station from the wayshrine, had to run through what looked to be a closed door, wait about 10 seconds for the woodworking table to load, then get pushed into a random loading screen, just to come out of the loading screen ALL THE WAY ON THE OTHER END OF THE CITY near the stables ... with NO NPCs or even other players anywhere (not even the invisible NPC issue that was patched). I ran back to the woodworking station, and about where the markets are, I could see other players that were making their way to the blacksmith, walking through an invisible wall that caused them to despawn, and other NPCs on the other side of the invisible wall were there. It was like the game still thought I was at the woodworking station, and only loaded that area. I went up to the blacksmithing station, logged out and back in, and it put me back at the woodworking station.
I can understand using texture pop in to reduce loading time, other games do it too, but other games don't make you wait for the graphics to load before you can interact with the NPC/object. Anyone else with fast mounts having these issues?
