I see Templars using Solar Disturbance most of the time. Because the stun is very usefull, as Monster won't attempt to leave the area anyway.

I would say for PvE, Solar Disturbance for sure. 5 Seconds stun is a lot.
And for Pvp Solar Prison, because they can't break free from snares. I imagine this to be a bit better in pvp. Especially because the snares is active even without the synergy and sadly, most players don't care for activating synergies in random pvp. So better don't expect someone to use it.
Both morphs stun, when an ally activates the synergy. But the stun of solar disturbance lasts a bit longer and deals more damage (I think)

What he said, but vice versa.

Solar Prison has the better synergy and no snare.
Solar Disturbance has the regular synergy and a snare.

Solar Prison: Normal synergy and snare.
Solar Disturbance: Stronger snyergy and no snare

    Yeah my understanding is
    Solar Prison - stronger synergy
Solar Prison - affects enemies movement speed.

Best for PvE grouping, Solar Prison?

Yep, I would use Solar prison and I in fact use it as a Templar in group PvE.

It's not that of a big difference though. Both versions have the most important -30% damage redution and the damage dealing component. You might do more damage by using Solar Prison, IF an ally clicks the synergy.

Concerning the wrong skill description in the above screen shot...so many skills and abilities have wrong and/or outdated descriptions when searching for something on the internet.

For skills I would always suggest Deltia's page: http://deltiasgaming.com/2014/09/12/templar-class-guide-part-ii-skills/

At least for NB and templar (my played classes) I noticed no errors there, so the page seems to be pretty up to date. The only annoying is, that the Mage Guild skills aren't covered there, no idea why.

Sometimes the prey turns and nips us... it's a small thing.

So let the snow flakes and unicorns dance alone until they melt or vanish from existence, we will finish up with those smart enough to stay in the glowing circle of love.
