Why Is XP in PvP Not Being Increased?

Sorry if I misread or missed a ZOS comment on this but from a quick glance through the IC information, it seems as if XP is increasing almost everywhere except in Cyrodiil/PvP. Why is that? Pure PvP XP already lags far behind PvE. Now it will be even worse. Personally, unless I have to, I would prefer to level V14 to V16 via PvP but that will likely take twice as long.

    I would also like to level faster from pvp. Its leagues behind every other method.

    Probably due to possible exploit with farming your buds although that should be easily fixable..or they forgot! Its PvP after all

    I can imagine the problems with setting up a good reward system for PvP. As it is, though, it's basically you either have to be good at "playing the numbers" (which IMHO is kind of antithetic to PvP) or you have to get your xp/cp elsewhere, in PvE.
    I wonder if PvP would not be more fun without any kind of concern for character progression whatsoever.
    Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

    Let's face it, most of the time you guys just stupidly ping-pong between outposts and the nearest castles. You hardly deserve XP.
    It is so stupid that I would in all seriousness recommend XP to be drained each time a player passes through one of the gates. If he passes again in 10 minutes, it would drain double.

    EDIT: it (increase of XP yield) would also have not entirely desirable impact on the noob campaign. Until they fix adult campaigns (which seems unlikely given they instead let even the noob campaign devolve into ping-pong garbage, albeit at better frame rate), XP yield as it is now is fine.

    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Ha ha, I love the anger towards PvP. It makes me feel good inside.

    Actually the only leaching going on is PvE'rs destroying a PvP zone by creating buff servers. Thankfully, that will likely disappear. This game was not developed for specifically for you MaxDarg. If you don't like PvP then don't go to a PvP zone to PvE.

    If XP is going to be increased throughout all of PvE, then it should also be increased in PvP. Personally I think Zos simply just simply neglected PvP/forgot.

    PvE is getting this so....

    100% more XP for all public dungeons
    50% more XP for all Veteran Rank quests
    20% more XP in Craglorn

    so PvP should get this....

    100% more XP for all delves in Cyrodiil
    50% more XP for all Veteran Rank PvP quests
    20% more XP in Cyrodiil

If they increased XP so that the "average" PvPer got a decent rate of XP gain per hour, then you would have guys like Sypher or whoever end up with 3600 CP in less than a week!

If they increased XP so that the "average" PvPer got a decent rate of XP gain per hour, then you would have guys like Sypher or whoever end up with 3600 CP in less than a week!

    There's no need to balance around the median. Always balance the top.

    That's fine, but Emma makes a good point. Honestly, if you balance for the top the median might not see much of what one might call an incremental gain in exp. However Wheeler said they were looking at boosting exp for PVP, so till we hear anything from him there isn't much more to discuss.
