I bought a horse from the crown store but I don't see a bump up for my carrying capacity how does this work?

Mounts don't have any inherent stats, they're cosmetic. Your Riding skill starts at 0, you can train at the stablemaster every 20 hours to increase your speed, stamina or carrying capacity for 250 gold per lesson. Your character's Riding skill applies to any mount he or she uses, but is separate for each character on your account.

Mount speed, stamina, and carrying capacity are based on your player skill now. Once you purchase and select a mount, go to the mount trainer (at the horse stable) and select a riding skill to increase. You can increase one skill per 20 hours, for a cost of 250 gold. Purchased mounts are available to all characters on your account, but riding skills are per-character.

But even if you bump up the carrying stat on your horse does it mean your character can carry more? Or the horse is more efficient?

Yeah what happens if you buy more carrying space for your horse then you mount off? Are all those extra items still on the horse?

Feeding your horse for carrying capacity increase your bag space by one, the horse has no bag space, you can feed for capacity 60 times gaining 60 bag spaces for your inventory.

How long does 1 bag space last?

What happens if you forget to feed the horse and the bag space disappears, do you lose items?

I'm not sure if you're being serious or not but...once you pay the 250 gold each day to capacity, speed or stamina its permanent.

For your information I am being serious or else I wouldn't be asking the question.

bro, u go to the stablemaster and buy the upgrade for ur space which costs 250 shiny metal. u get the upgrade to your inventiory immediatly and FOREVER but u will have a cooldown of 20 hours on your next horsetraining.

So, wait guys, are you saying that my horse will die if I don't feed him oats and apples? JK. this gave a good chuckle tho. The information on different types of horses providing an instant 10 points in one category or another was from the pre-console days. I believe that all horse start at zero stats and you can choose to upgrade all stats to 60 one day (20 hours) at a time.

In the crown store it says increase mount capacity by 10. My question is: Does this incease the max by ten making the max 70? Or does it just increase your amount by 10 saving you 200 hours?

One more horse question: I bought the 10k gold horse, I have 23 training in capacity, if I now buy the 40k horse or a crown horse does it have that training carry over or do I have to start all over again?

I haven't seen the 10 point Crown Store upgrade so I cant comment on that but,

The "horse stats" are actually applied to the players character, so if you buy multiple horses for looks then you will need to only buy the upgrades per character and the stats will be applied to whichever mount you have active, however, since the horses themselves are account wide then you would still have to upgrade the same horse all over again for your alt chars .

@curtisbrough - There should be a horse for 10,000 gold available for purchase at any Stable [Sorrel Horse].
