When is Spellcrafting coming?

A year ago, there was alot of information about Spellcrafting being released at the QuakeCon previews for TESO, although several former designers and developers left Zenimax as of recent. Is there any word yet on when Spellcrafting might be taken back into development? Or is it still in the future works after the Imperial City DLC is released? TBH, I would love a Spellcrafting DLC, with possibly a Mages Tower you could own and other player homes (Frostcrag Tower comes to my mind from Oblivion's DLC Plugin).

my guess is we will see IC, then the two pve content zones, VR removal, final phase of justice system, and then a toss up between spell crafting and dark brotherhood. so a year or more probably.

Well technically Eric Wrobel said that one of the things to help with stamina builds was coming with spellcrafting. That was ESO live 2 weeks ago. I imagine next year hopefully.

What he said was that, while it's still being worked on, it's not coming any time soon. He made sure to say that before continuing on. And his statement was in response to a question about being able to taunt other players in PvP.

A year ago this was a subscription game so don't put too much stock in what was said way back then. I predict it will be ready the sixth Tuesday of the thirteenth month of the next odd leap year.

I would be very happy to be proved wrong.

You forgot jewelry crafting. That'll come before spell rafting for sure. They mentioned it earlier. I am still holding my breath on that but I am starting to feel a little funny.

Jewelry crafting is need first, then spell crafting, and since we know nothing about jewelry crafting and maby never will, spell crafting will never happen! Though it is a nother broken promis from ESO.

Agreed. I'd rather they not try to break the game further balance-wise and focus on adding actual content in the form of zones as well as fixing and making improvements to current game systems, wrapping up their work on the justice system and FaceFX, as well as address any balancing issues with combat in the meantime until such additions to the game as Spellcrafting do come into play.

It will be fun to see the types of builds people come up with regardless once it does get implemented, though.

It well come the day the remove VR and complete justice system in this game which also info us on QuakeCon last year mean with other word somewhere in future.....

I actually hope they won't add this particular system. Lots of balance issues again.
