Can´t buy crowns with paypal

As the title says. i cant buy crown with paypal, y have a verified paypal account but its not associated with any credit card as visa or related, and when i try to buy with paypal, a message appear that i need to associate a new credit card in order to continue, but my question is... why there is a paypal method of payment if a credit card is also required?? what can i do if i dont have a credit card? dont say prepaid game card becausse where i live, there arent
