Do consumable benefits stack?

I know I could look this up, but I thought I'd ask the knowledgeable folks here.

Any thoughts?

Do you mean like.. if you eat a food, and then a drink - would you get both buffs? No, they do not stack.

If you eat two foods(or drinks), it does not stack, the one you drink second replaces the first.

If you mean otherwise, sorry, let me know.

Exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you. I always end up with so many of them, I was wondering whether I should stack them, store them or sell them.

    Thanks again!

If these are the White Loot ones, then just vendor them. The crafted Greens are much better. I find myself using Blue or Purple Foods/Drinks as they buff 2 or 3 attributes so take up less space. Yes, the Buff amount is lowered as you combine more things, but not so much that it makes a huge difference. But if you want to really buff a single Attribute, a Crafted Green is the way to go.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Food and drink do not. Before 1.6 came out they said they would, but they lied...

Prior to 1.6 drink gave such a poor bonus compared to food nobody used it, so they boosted drink and then felt that food + drink was too powerful...

But you can take food/drink and potions.

However, some of the potion effects don't stack with other (non-food) buffs.
