Whats the difference dragonstar?

I don't understand whats the difference between the normal and veteran difficulty setting with dragonstar arena regardless when my veteran 1 group enters it, all enemys are veteran 14? Can someone explain the difference?

More damage more hp...veteran is alot harder

The big difference is that each stage has an additional mechanic when you do it on veteran. I won't tell you what the difference is since I think it's great fun to figure out what's different and how to deal with the mechanics.
Apart from that there are more enemies with more hp that hit harder.
