Does 1 subscription on 1 account allow you to play as a subscribed player on pc and console

I am subbed on pc, thinking of geting it on ps4 and wondering if i need 2 subscriptions.

NotSo is correct. ESO Plus only applies to one platform.

first off, you dont need a sub to play, its buy to play so only have to buy the game
if u want eso plus on both pc and ps4, u need to have 2 subs;
and lastly, your account is not shared between pc and console, so u'll need to start over on ps4 with new characters, and transfer your account from pc to console is not available anymore

This is the only redeeming factor about the PC account copy as it will force players to select a preferred platform. In a few months those transferred vr14 characters won't be dominating the console communities who will be at vr16. The CP gap is another story though.

I have no issue starting from scratch on a console. So would i be able to swap my sub to the ps4 as I doubt I will play on pc. Although really I think 1 sub should cover all platforms like Realm Reborn

That would be one way to make ESO Plus more attractive. If ESO Plus applied to the PC account and to console PSN/GT linked to it, that would be cool. I doubt that Sony and Microsoft would go for this as they undoubtedly get a cut from the ESO Plus profits on their respective platforms.

However, as stated above, I think that people will have a preferred system and spend more time there, so it would be largely a moot point.

I am not ESO Plus on my PS4 account. If they offered it in 6 month blocks, like they do on the PC, I might do it. Sony's decision, I guess. They can list whatever they want in their Store and they are apparently happy with the 30-day time card for $14.99.
