Devs: Feature request for provisioning (console)

drifter1138
As a new console player I've (like a lot of people) put a lot of time into my provisioning and I think it's pretty darned good the way it is.
However, two small feature requests that I think would really benefit players are as follows (albeit minor):

1 - When browsing guild vendors for crafting>provisioning>recipes you have to scroll down on the right pane to see if you know the recipe or not.

When you are browsing through hundreds of recipes for sale it gets annoying having to scroll down on the right controller to see if you know the recipe due to a resolution limitation or too much info describing the recipe. Is it possible to move the "Recipe Known" or "Use to learn recipe" to the top of the right pane or have a small indicator at the top that's like a light that's red or green so you can see quickly if you have the recipe?
That way you can hold down on the left controller when browsing recipes and only look in one spot on the right pane to rapidly determine if you need the recipe?

2 - When actually crafting food at a campfire recipes are sorted by category, then level.

Is it possible to allow another filter to allow sorting by category and alphabetically? This would reduce the time trying to scroll through your list of known recipes when trying to do daily writs and figuring out if you know the recipe.

Two minor feedback issues that are really trivial but would help gameplay IMHO.

Thanks for listening.

Agreed regarding the location of the text telling you whether you know a recipe or not. On the PC, it's in the upper right corner - not sure why they changed it on consoles.

I also agree that there should be better sorting/filtering of recipes in the crafting menu. Perhaps you already know this, but using the right and left triggers will scroll immediately to the next category either up or down. This helps to quickly get to the category you need. I also have my options set to only show the recipes I can actually make, which is great for my low-level characters who know a lot more recipes than they can actually make. This is not so great for my Veteran 8, though. :p

However, these are only marginally helpful, and I'd prefer they implement a nested menu, similar to the inventory system.

When did they add that? Has it always been there?

Sous Chef was the first add on I used, and the only one for a few months, and I never noticed this on the stock UI.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

It was added a while back (maybe 6 months?), but was not initially part of the UI. They had also updated the display for motifs, to let you know whether it was in your library or not. However, that feature was removed when they had to include language regarding the need to be level X in an equipment crafting skill after the Crown motifs were introduced (since you only have to be level 1 for those).
