I can't seem to find a lot of ingredients, can someone suggest getting looting areas Im in AD

Best places to find ingredients are caves/delves with lots of barrels, crates, and sacks. One great place is Pirate's Cove (or something like that) in the 5th zone of AD (not sure if you've advanced that far yet). Once you complete the quest there, the enemies disappear, so you can come back repeatedly and easily loot the area without having to fight enemies.

Also, once you reach Coldharbour, you can freely loot all containers in the Hollow City.

Interestingly i found that in cold harbour any barrels/crates etc.. in town won't count as a steal.

The waterfront piers and warehouses are good sources of looting areas. You will need to crouch/sneak around to avoid being caught. From the waterfront you have a good chance of evading guards if you are caught. Then go to the Fence and Launder the mats.

go to a starting town,(any faction) there will be a delve close by, once you looted and cleared, walk outside delve, camp and go back in. can keep doing this

Also the Provisioning Hireling is a good source of mats. I get good mats fairly often, and from the hireling it's 5 or 10 at a time.

Pick a Delve that has humans in it, they tend to have more containers with more provisioning ingredients. There is one up in Rivenspire that is ripe for farming provisioning ingredients. In fact, a large part of Rivenspire is freely lootable even in the towns (outside of Shornhelm)
