Red Face in Cyrodiil

Hi,
What does the red face on my character in Cyrodiil mean?
I've had it a few times, usually after combat or a siege and when I am doing well overall?
I see no unsusual ACTIVE EFFECTS.

Well, it could be your character is just embarrassed... perhaps also close to a heart attack... or possibly suppressing naughty thoughts...

Personally I am kinda glad the repentence doesn't stick as much anymore, I hated having my characters look like someone dumped a tub of tar on them, it always made me nervous around chicken...

I am not sure I got all of the seriousness or the humour.

Using my experience I think it means I have been fighting a lot and the red face (and soaked red tabard) was triggered by either deaths, kills, both or some kind of mad-AP rush.

Usually means you were eaten by a werewolf player.

Can you please explain. I am eaten by a werewolf player and so I have this kind of barbaric savage red (bad case of acne on face and tunic) colour for the next, what? 4 hours?

You died, someone in WW form found your body and feasted on you to remain in WW form. The colour will stay on you until you relog.

Yes. It's a well known Cyrodiil bug that is so old by now we may as well consider it a feature. It's right up there in familiarity with the lowered health bug that stays with you despite /reloadui until you die.

Seems rather silly to me. The ww doesn't see it and it neither harms nor benefits me, just changes my appearance in an undecided way.
Imagine if, instead of resurrection, I could curse a dead enemy, and then they had a blue face for the rest of their Cyrodiil session, but not actually see it myself. Seems odd.
