Hi, I'm looking to turn on the subtitles for the game so my hearing impaired friend can enjoy the game while play it, but I can't seem to find a subtitles option anywhere, nor have I found any information on how to do so on the internet. Please I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you

Usually the first thing I do with most games. I like subtitles. Was a little sad when I couldn't find an option anywhere. My guess is they don't exist.

I would love subtitles. With summer here and the AC running non stop plus the 2 year old running around yelling all the time... yea, it's hard to hear the dialog lol

I use a Microsoft Stereo Headset, pretty darn good, quite surprised coming from Razer Surround on PC. However with that being said a lot of people start talking at the same time and I can't understand anything anyone is saying. It's like one of those "What The Heck" moments. I haven't played recently only played a week ago and I was like OK I give up. So to actually understand them through text chat or subtitles would be great.

Well the problem is that my friend can't hear... She's deaf so it's not that I can't just hear what is going on very well over other noise, she can't hear the dialogue at all so she can't really follow the plot though she thinks the game is really cool and I have been telling her what is going on as much as I can, or at least what I think is important as we play together... But she can't just play on her own she misses things because doesn't know someone is talking to her so she doesn't know to approach them... I can understand not having everyone that speaks have subtitles, but to have at least those that are to get your attention or speaking as part of the plot but not in a dialogue window... It would make things a lot easier... As I read right here not just for those who can't hear but for anyone that might not be in a prefect environment where they can hear what is going on in the game. And yes when you get a bunch of people talking away when an NPC is giving out information it can be rather annoying... Especially when it's about nothing at all and they are being annoying themselves just to be annoying... Please ZeniMax Media Inc. and Bethesda put in Subtitles in the game it's not fair to not have them.
