Wands?

Now I know some people have discussed this before, but I personally feel as if wands could create just that bit more immersion in ESO. Wands have been discussed and mentioned multiple times in the game and the previous ES titles and could provide mages/wizards who are wanting to cast spells without lugging a massive walking stick everywhere, but instead could pull out there wand from their robes/wand-pouch etc. They have never been in an ES title before, but does that really mean we can never see them for the first time? Blocking with a wand can be quite difficult as physically blocking would snap it, so maybe a ward spell? Please read and support!

I would not like it. It is not very Elder Scrolls friendly.

Although I would like an "Unarmed" skill line, where you could choose by way of morphing to make the abilities akin to either a spell caster using their hands rather than a staff like in other Elder scrolls games, or a fighter brawling with their fists.

    I like the idea.
Using a wand would allow the player to use a Shield with a staff at the same time.
I personally would love to use a shield and Restoration staff (wand) at the same time on my healer.

no, thanks. I'd rather not to see any wands in E$O.

    Not lore friendly.

It is lore friendly, they have been mentioned multiple times, for instance- when Festus Krex said he was just about born with a wand in his hand.

Daggerfall had wands, but they couldn't be equipped, so they were mostly just useless magical items. ESO has Lena's Wand of Finding and a wand from Bleakrock, turning people into skeevers. There is lore precedent for this kind of thing. That said, Unarmed would be more in line with recent games, so I'd be in favor of this solution instead.

I think wielding a large staff is alot more intimidating looking than walking around with a wand. So I would prefer a staff over a wand any day.

If Wielding a (2h) Staff was possible with a shield i would go for that style, but since that is impossible a wand would be a good secondary option.
